Turnpike lanes re-open after truck accident

A box truck carrying deli meat overturned this morning on the New Jersey Turnpike southbound at 4:22 a.m., sending one person to the hospital by ambulance, Burlington County emergency dispatch said.

The incident occurred near Exit 5 and at least one lane continued to be open. All lanes are open now, dispatch said.

The victim was taken to Virtua-Memorial Hospital Burlington County in Mount Holly. Initial reports said the injury was minor.
