Woman Dies in Motorcycle Crash

The Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Department says a Grasonville woman was killed in a motorcycle accident in Chester over the weekend.

Authorities say 46-year-old Kimberly Rada was a passenger on the motorcycle when it crashed about 1 a.m. Sunday on Main Street. Officials say say the operator of the motorcycle was spotted running from the accident scene and was apprehended by a deputy.

The operator was identified as 41-year-old Larry Smith of Greenbelt. Smith is charged with multiple traffic offenses.
