Worker Injured In UW Building Dies

MADISON, Wis. -- A worker died on Thursday from injuries sustained in an accident at a University of Wisconsin building in Madison.

UW police said officers responded Wednesday afternoon to Hiram Smith Hall, where an employee of Robinson Brothers Environmental fell from a 10-foot ladder while working on asbestos removal.

The 37-year-old worker, whose name is still being withheld, fell about seven feet and landed on the back of his head.
