Scaffold collapse in New Jersey kills two painters

Two painters are dead and a third injured in New Jersey after the scaffold they were on collapsed.

A Hudson County prosecutor says the men were painting a fuel tank when the scaffold gave way. He blames a faulty bolt for the fall, which he said was the equivalent of plunging several stories.

A preliminary investigation suggests it was an industrial accident. Authorities are probing further to figure out exactly what happened.

The man who was hurt is expected to survive.
